Tree surveys and management plans
We have strong experience in computer-aided surveying and are familiar with a number of tree management packages, including STEMS, ConfirmArboriculture, EasyTreev, TreeScan, TreeLogger and Pocket FastMap. Local Authorities considering purchase of one or other of these systems often seek our advice. We use the 'Digiterra 6' satellite-GPS plotting system for surveying tree populations and other types of vegetation. Data and drawings can be exported in conventional GIS formats. We are used to collating large amounts of data from both survey and research projects using appropriate computer techniques and utilising such data in the preparation of detailed assessments of tree populations, amenity woodlands and other arboricultural features and in the preparation of management plans.
We offer the following services:
Individual tree inspections (both climbing and ground level) using the IML 'Resistograph' decay detection drill downloading to computer for graphic representation of results
Large scale computerised surveys of urban tree populations

Inspecting highway trees close to a school entrance.
